Germany Under 20 National Team are through to the last 16 of the 2015 Fifa Under 20 World Cup.<br /><br />A player of Nigerian descent skippered the German side in their 3 - 0 win against Uzbekistan on Thursday morning. <br /><br />Hoffenheim central defender Kevin Akpoguma lasted the entire distance at the <span class="mh-i-stadium">Christchurch Stadium, </span><span class="mh-i-stadium">Christchurch unlike the first game against Fiji that saw him subbed out in the 59th minute.<br /><br />Coincidentally, it was exactly the same minute he found the back of the net against </span>Uzbekistan, striking the ball home after dispossessing Dostonbek Khamdamov.<br /><br />Kevin Akpoguma was invited for the Nigeria U23s screening exercise last December but&nbsp; is expected to make a decision on his international future after this tournament. <br /><br />Photo Credit : footballzz.com<br />
