Goal Scoring Defender Ganiu Ogungbe Rues Draw With Aris
Ex-Nigeria U20 international Ganiu Ogungbe has declared that <span class=\"st\"> Ethnikos Achnas were unlucky not to get the maximum points in their Cypriot First Division clash away to Aris </span><span class=\"st\"><span>Limassol </span>on Sunday.<br /><br />The central defender put his team 2-1 up in the 35th minute,only for Mathew Boniface to restore parity for Aris in the first minute of stoppage time.<br /><br />Ogungbe has blossomed into a goal scoring defender since his arrival at </span><span class=\"st\">Ethnikos Achnas,with his strike against Aris his seventh in the league since he debuted for the club in 2014.<br /><br /></span>“I am a central defender but I also play as a central midfielder but all my four goals (this season) came from the defensive position,” Ogungbe told <b>allnigeriasoccer.com</b>.<br /><br />“I think my team deserves the three points but unfortunately we were unlucky.All thanks to God.”<br /><br />The ex-Omonia Nicosia stopper has played 22 games in the top-flight so far this season, and has been yellow-carded eight times.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />
