A goal each from Chukwudi Agor and Victor Osimhen gave the Golden Eaglets a 2-0 win over USA in the opening match of the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile. <br /><br />The reigning world champions were the better side in the match played at the Estadio Nacional Julio Mart&iacute;nez Pr&aacute;danos, Santiago.<br /><br />The breakthrough that they wanted arrived through Agbor five minutes into the second half. <br /><br />Nigeria continued to control the match and they scored the insurance goal that they wanted courtesy of a quality finish from Osimhen in the 61st minute. <br /><br />The remaining twenty-nine minutes saw the Yankees coming into the match but their attacks ended in front of the Eaglets&rsquo; penalty area while Nigeria&rsquo;s forward play ended with no end product because of either poor finishing or over-elaborate passing.<br /><br />Nigeria&rsquo;s next group match is against hosts Chile on Tuesday night and another win&nbsp; or even a draw for the Golden Eaglets will give the team passage to the second round of the tournament. <br /><br />Photo Credit : fifa.com<br />
