Swedish Allsvenskan club Djurg&aring;rdens IF have handed a trial to Nigerian striker Haruna Garba with a view to a transfer before the close of the winter transfer window in the country.<br /><br />Aged 23, Garba last defended the colours of United Arab Emirates club Dubai Cultural Sports Club.<br /><br />The big and powerful center forward will display his wares when Djurg&aring;rdens IF face off against Tromso and Viking Stavanger, as well as under-21 matches against Sirius and &ouml;rebro, writes the club on its official webpage.<br /><br />Garba numbers Sliema Wanderers, Hamrun Spartans and Kruoja among some of his former clubs.<br /><br />Retired Nigeria international Prince Ikpe Ekong and Kennedy Igboananike have played for Djurg&aring;rdens IF in the past.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : maltacorner.com<br />
