KV Oostende's former Austria U21 international Marko Kvasina has sent a warning to Rapid Vienna over Paul Onuachu ahead of the Europa League fixture against Racing Genk on Thursday evening.
The Super Eagles striker is one of three Nigeria-eligible players named in Genk's traveling party to the Austrian capital, the others being defender Mujaid Sadick and summer signing from Chelsea, Ike Ugbo.
Kvasina has underlined that Genk have several options in attack and the player Rapid Vienna must be particularly wary of is lanky striker Onuachu, who is a threat in the air.
The former FC Midtjylland man was a sensation in the Belgian First Division A last season, scoring 33 goals to win the top scorer and Belgian Professional Footballer of the Year awards.
This season, Onuachu has picked up where he left off last campaign, scoring four goals in eight matches across all competitions.
Speaking to Austrian newspaper Krone Zeitung, Kvasina said on Onuachu : "He is over two meters, the flanks assist him perfectly.
"He was top scorer last season (note 33 league goals), Genk could have sold him very dearly. If they didn't - that says it all".
Onuachu has faced Austrian opposition before in European competition, coming off the bench in two Champions League matches versus Red Bull Salzburg in his maiden season at Genk.
