The permanent transfer of Nigeria Football Federation target Jordan Torunarigha to KAA Gent is drawing closer.
On Sunday, Sky Sport Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg revealed that the former Germany U21 international is on the brink of returning to KAA Gent for a second spell, adding that a medical has been booked for the central defender on Monday, July 18.
There are no doubts whatsoever that a transfer to Gent is certainly on the cards, with Hertha Berlin confirming in the last hour that Torunarigha has left the team's training camp in St. George's Park, England to enter transfer negotiations with an unnamed club.

The German-Nigerian departing the training camp could mean he has played his last game for Hertha Berlin.
Indeed, authoritative German sports publication Kicker reported on Sunday that Torunarigha said goodbye to his teammates and checked out of the team hotel yesterday ahead of his permanent switch to KAA Gent.
The 24-year-old is expected to complete a medical examination latest Tuesday, July 19.
Torunarigha registered six goals and five assists in 81 appearances across all competitions for Hertha Berlin, whom he joined sixteen years ago from Chemnitzer FC.
