Kelechi Iheanacho, who has scored goals after goals in recent weeks, has fired Leicester City to the final of the Emirates FA Cup following their 1-0 victory over Southampton at Wembley on Sunday evening.
The Taye Academy product and fellow Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi put in a solid 90-minute shift for the Foxes.
On 29 minutes, Ayoze Perez tried to pick out Iheanacho at the back post but the Spaniard's cross was too much for the Nigerian striker.
Both teams created few clear-cut scoring opportunities as they went into the interval goalless.
Ten minutes after the break, Iheanacho scored what proved to be the winning goal as he slotted home from close range after his first attempt was blocked.
Speaking post-match, the red-hot striker hailed his strike partner Jamie Vardy and expressed his love for the FA Cup.
"We did it together, without the team we couldn't do it, it's not a one man show," Iheanacho told BT Sport via BBC.
I'm happy with the way we played together and stayed together at the end and I was at the right place at the right time. We are in the final and we're really happy."
He continued : "The partnership between me and Jamie [Vardy] is outstanding, he's got the pace, he's got everything and he's a great player.
"I think the FA Cup loves me and I love the FA Cup. I've been unlucky in the past few years but I need to keep working hard to go to the next level now."
Brendan Rodgers' Leicester City will face Chelsea at Wembley in the FA Cup final on May 15.
