Bayern Munich young defender Alphonso Davies reckons that Arsenal's Bukayo Saka is among the top five fullbacks in the world.
Predominantly a winger, the Anglo-Nigerian has underlined his versatility be playing in multiple positions this term, including left-back, left wing-back and left midfielder.
Saka has had a breakout season, highlighted by the fact that he's one of three players in the running for Arsenal's Player of the Season and the Nigeria Football Federation are keen on securing his services.
In an interview originally published on 90 min and reproduced by Tribuna, Davies said when asked to name his top five fullbacks : "Hakimi [a new signing of Inter] is one of them.
"I really like how Benji [Pavard - a Bayern teammate] plays, scoring goals and getting assists, so those two.
"Trent Alexander-Arnold definitely and I really like [Bukayo] Saka from Arsenal. He's a really good player."
To complete the shortlist, the 19-year-old Davies picked himself as the fifth fullback.
Saka has been nominated for the prestigious 2020 Golden Boy, an award previously won by Wayne Rooney, Lionel Messi, Paul Pogba and Raheem Sterling.
