Joe Aribo has earned more praise from Rangers head coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst following his outstanding performances since the Dutchman took over the managerial reins from Steven Gerrard.
Predominantly a central midfielder, the Nigeria international has underlined his versatility by playing in multiple positions
since joining the Ibrox outfit, from left-back to attacking midfield.
Van Bronckhorst has given Aribo the license to roam forward and it has paid dividends with the midfielder finding the net in three of his last five matches in the Premiership.
Speaking at Friday's pre-match press conference before the visit of Dundee United to Ibrox Stadium, Van Bronckhorst acknowledged that Aribo has been in sensational form and can be a big player for him.
He told reporters : "He's very big, he's played his role really well. I am really happy with his performances.
"You see when you have a midfield player who is dangerous with his runs, off the ball movement, you create more danger from different areas.
"Joe is playing really well at this time so I am happy with his performance so all good for him".
Aribo will be walking a disciplinary tightrope in tomorrow's clash against Dundee United as he is one booking away from an automatic suspension having already accumulated five yellow cards.
