Michael Ihiekwe (Rotherham): Despite The Millers losing 2-1 to Plymouth Argyle, Ihiekwe continues to impress so much so that he has relegated ex-Arsenal youth-team skipper Semi Ajayi to the bench in the last four games.

Uche Agbo (Standard Liege): Agbo was in action for Standard Liege in their 3-1 victory over KAA Gent in a Belgian First Division game.

Midfielders

Victor Moses (Chelsea): Victor Moses impressed for The Blues in their 1-0 win over Swansea City in their English Premier League game.

Ogenyi Onazi (Trabzonspor): Onazi made his return from injury for the Trabzons in the 2-1 win against Antalyaspor in the Turkish Super League.

Kelechi Nwakali (MVV Maastricht): The Arsenal loanee struck his fifth goal of the season for Maastricht in the 2-1 defeat to Ajax Amsterdam II in the Eerste Divisie.

Peter Olayinka (Zulte Waregem): Olayinka scored the winner for his team in their 2-1 win over Royal Excel Mouscron in a UEFA Europa league playoff game in Belgium.

Strikers

Simy (Crotone): Nwankwo hit his third successive goal for Crotone in the 4-1 victory over Sassuolo to take his tally to five in the Italian Serie A.

Olarenwaju Kayode (Shakhtar Donetsk): Kayode struck the solitary goal for Shakhtar in the 1-0 win versus Mariupol  in the Ukrainian league.

Odion Ighalo (Changchun Yatai): Ighalo took his tally to six goals in just two outings, scoring twice as Changchun Yatai brushed past Shanghai SIPG FC in the CSL.
