Young Arsenal forward Andre Harriman-Annous has taken to social media to provide a positive update on the injury he sustained ahead of Arsenal's UEFA Youth League clash with Bayern Munich.
The Hale End Academy graduate had been set to feature in the matchday squad for the visit of Bayern Munich but was forced to withdraw at the last minute.
Allnigeriasoccer.com exclusively reported four days ago that the early prognosis was encouraging, with the injury not expected to be long-term.
Harriman-Annous has hinted at a swift return to action, teasing on Instagram that he will soon be back on the pitch.
As a result of the injury, the 17-year-old did not train with the first team ahead of Arsenal’s blockbuster clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday evening.
The promising forward made his senior debut as a starter when Arsenal defeated Brighton & Hove Albion 2–0 in the Carabao Cup on October 29.
His Champions League bow followed six days later, coming off the bench in a 3–0 win over Slavia Prague.
Harriman-Annous has also impressed with Arsenal’s development squad, scoring three goals so far this season, including two in Premier League 2.
