With a statement published on their official webpage, Championship side Charlton Athletic have announced that they have extended the contract of Joshua Umerah.<br /><br />The 18-year-old frontman has been rewarded with a new deal after scoring plenty of goals in the Professional Development League 2 South , 15 in total.<br /><br />The new agreement between club and player will see Umerah remain at <span class=\"\\&quot;_Xbe\\&quot;\">SE7 8BL until the summer of 2018.<br /><br />The teenager has been at Charlton Athletic since Under 11 level and debuted for the first team against Hull City on January 16 and has made the 18-man squad for games against Cardiff and Colchester United in the third round of the FA Cup.<br /><br />Ademola Lookman and Ayo Obileye are on the books of the Addicks.<br /></span><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel<br /><br />Photo Credit : <span class=\"\\&quot;_Xbe\\&quot;\">cafc.co.uk</span>
