Kenechukwu Uchenwa Ponders Future With Mallorca
Defensive midfielder Kenechukwu Uchenwa has dropped a hint that he may depart Mallorca in the summer.<br /><br />Time
is ticking away for the Spanish Segunda Division side to recoup a
percentage of their previous investment on the player as he becomes a
free agent at the end of next season.<br /><br />“I haven<span class="body1">’</span>t
talked with any clubs directly but someone who moves around for me has
held talks with many clubs in Spain and outside Spain,”Kenechukwu
Uchenwa confided to <b>allnigeriasoccer.com</b>.<br /><br />“Now I am waiting for him to reply me what plans he has for me next season.”<br /><br />Over
the course of last season, the 24 - year - old failed to make a single
appearance for the first team of Mallorca but suited up 15 times for the
Reserve Team, who play in the third level of the Spanish football
pyramid.<br /><br />“My performance was good, it<span class="body1">’</span>s true that I didn<span class="body1">’</span>t play much but the little I played I came out as best player of the match.<br /><br />“So I can<span class="body1">’</span>t say it<span class="body1">’</span>s because of my performance I didn<span class="body1">’</span>t play much. I hope next season will be much better because I know what I can give,” he concluded.<br /><br />Kenechukwu Uchenwa has spent the last five seasons at the Iberostar Stadium.
