According to reporting by <i>Fanatik</i>, Turkish Super Lig side Konyaspor are ready to make a move for former Nigeria skipper Joseph Yobo.<br /><br />The central defender has been searching for a new employer since September after he mutually terminated his contract with Fenerbahce because he was not assured a first team spot due to the strict foreign quota rule in Turkey.<br /><br />Konyaspor have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Joseph Yobo due to the fact that he still has ties to Turkey.<br /><br />His wife remained in the country to complete her tertiary education when he tore up his agreement with the <i>Yellow Canaries</i>.<br /><br />Ex Fenerbahce manager Aykut Kocaman , who now handles Konyaspor, has recommended that the club begin transfer talks with the experienced center back.<br /><br />To that end, the Super Eagles record cap holder will travel to the city in the coming days to thrash out a deal with Konyaspor chiefs.<br /><br />Photo Credit : fifa.com<br /><br /><br /><br />
