Rivers United have been handed a massive boost ahead of Sunday&rsquo;s match day 13 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) game against Plateau United.<br /><br />This follows the news that Ivorian striker, Kuy Kuemian Venance is fit again.<br /><br />Kuemian has not played for United since April 10 when he suffered a strain of the left quadriceps in the club&rsquo;s 1-2 defeat to Heartland at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.<br /><br />The former Leones Vegetarianos man duly missed out on the club&rsquo;s 1-0 win over Kano Pillars in Port Harcourt on April 17 but has now been passed fit to return against Plateau United this weekend.<br /><br />&ldquo;The doctor (Chukwuemeka Agi) asked him to stay away from training for a week and he duly complied.<br /><br />&ldquo;He is available for selection for the next game against Plateau United in Jos.<br /><br />&ldquo;Guy is an important player and he will make the attack even stronger,&rdquo; Eguma told RIVERS UNITED MEDIA.<br /><br />Kuemian made his debut for Rivers United in the club&rsquo;s 1-2 defeat to MFM FC in Lagos on February 24 and did not miss a single game until he strained his quadriceps in Owerri. <br /><br />He scored arguably the club&rsquo;s most important goal in the league this season-an injury time winner in the match day five NPFL clash against Nasarawa United in Port Harcourt on March 6.<br /><br />Sammy Wejinya, MO Rivers United<br />
