In Wednesday's Le Classique showdown, Paris Saint-Germain Féminine secured a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Olympique de Marseille in their latest Arkema Première Ligue encounter.

The game-changing moment came from Super Falcons midfielder Jennifer Echegini, whose decisive contribution helped secure all three points for the Parisians.

Echegini opened the scoring in the 72nd minute with a shot that nestled into the far corner of the net, giving PSG the lead and setting the stage for their eventual win.

The second goal came shortly after when Sakina Karchaoui provided the assist for Tara Elimbi, putting PSG 2-0 ahead.

Marseille responded through Jenny Perret, who converted a cross from Melissa Herrera to pull one back, but PSG held on to claim all three points.

Fellow Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade also featured for PSG, playing the first 45 minutes of the match.

Her presence contributed to PSG’s midfield and attacking efforts before she was substituted at halftime.

The victory lifts Paris Saint-Germain Féminine to third place in the provisional Arkema Première Ligue standings, taking their tally to 32 points.
