Nine Super Eagles players have taken to Instagram to share their thoughts following Tuesday evening's goalless draw against Cameroon in Austria.
Boavista's Chidozie Awaziem, Leicester City duo Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi, Everton's Alex Iwobi, Nantes' Moses Simon, Omonia Nicosia's Abdullahi Shehu, Racing Genk striker Paul Onuachu, Lorient star Terem Moffi and Kano Pillars winger Ahmed Musa were all on parade at Wiener Neustädter Stadion, with the first six players going the distance for the Super Eagles.
In a game of few clear-cut opportunities for both teams, the three-time African champions could not find a breakthrough just as was the case in the first of the two friendlies last Friday when they were defeated 1-0 despite dominating the clash.
Gernot Rohr's team did not win any of their four friendlies staged in Austria in the last eight months - drawing twice against Tunisia and Cameroon while losing to Algeria and the Indomitable Lions.
Here's what they posted on Instagram :
Ahmed Musa : "🦅🇳🇬ðŸ‘".
Abdullahi Shehu : "Long and competitive season, exciting to round it up with
the national team. I appreciate your support all season. God bless!".
Kelechi Iheanacho : "Together we can 🇳🇬🇳🇬🦅".
Paul Onuachu : "🇳🇬🦅".
Terem Moffi : "Honoured to Represent 🇳🇬🦅"
