Nigeria U23 international Taiwo Awoniyi opened his goalscoring account for FSV Frankfurt in their 2-2 draw against FC Heidenheim in the German 2 Bundesliga on Friday night.<br /><br />The Liverpool loanee had previously played six games for <i>Bornheimer</i> in all competitions before finding the net for the first time at the Voith-Arena, racking up 385 minutes of playing time in the process.<br /><br />In the 22nd minute, Awoniyi was the quickest to react after Heidenheim netminder Jan Zimmermann pushed a goal-bound effort into his path and he stabbed home from close range.<br /><br />Aged 18, the Imperial Soccer Academy product is on loan at FSV Frankfurt from Liverpool until the end of the 2015-16.<br /><br />Internationally, he will head to Brazil this weekend for the Nigeria U23s friendly against the South American powerhouse next Thursday.<br /><br /><b>Igho Kingsley</b><br /><br />Photo Credit : liverpoolfc.com<br /><br /><br /><br />
