Former Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho has picked his brace against Manchester United in the quarterfinals of the Emirates FA Cup last month as the standout moment in his three-and-a-half years at Leicester City.
The Nigeria international had considered choosing his hat-trick against Sheffield United - his first-ever in the Premier League - but eventually opted for the important goals against the Red Devils that helped the Foxes reach their first FA Cup semifinal for 39 years.
That brace took his tally in the FA Cup to thirteen in eighteen games, overtaking Chelsea legend Didier Drogba (12) as the highest scoring African in the history of the competition.
"It's difficult to pick. I wanted to choose my hat-trick but I'm going to go for the one that qualified Leicester City for the first time in many years for the FA Cup semifinals," Iheanacho said to LCFC TV.
"It has been what they are waiting for for years so I'll take that as the best moment because the fans have been waiting for a long time and it happened in their life.
"It's a great opportunity for us to go and see if we can do more and if we win and get to the final."
Since making his professional debut, Iheanacho has scored three goals in all competitions against Manchester United, and only against Aston Villa (6) has he scored more.
