Man City's Adarabioyo Hops Off Bench, Alli Starts As Spurs Suffer Big Loss In Music Capital

Manchester-born Nigerian defender Tosin Adarabioyo hopped off the bench in the second half for another pre-season shift as Manchester City thrashed Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur at the Nissan Stadium (Nashville) on Saturday.

Pep Guardiola's side won 3-0 thanks to a first half strike from John Stones, the player Adarabioyo replaced in the 74th minute, Raheem Sterling and the 17-year-old Spaniard Brahim Diaz.

England star Alli ought to have given Tottenham Hotspur the lead in the 2nd minute but his shot was saved by Ederson Moraes, he was replaced in the 70th minute while teammate Josh Onomah was a non-playing substitute for this one.

With two wins from three matches, Man City finished second behind Barcelona in the International Champions Cup.

Ahead of their first competitive game of the season, they face West Ham United in Iceland this coming Friday.
