Midfielder Of Nigerian Descent Pens New Six-Year Contract With Spurs

With a statement published on their official webpage, Tottenham Hotspur have announced that England international of Nigerian descent Dele Alli has penned a new contract with the Premier League side.<br /><br />The new contract will keep the attacking midfielder at White Hart Lane until 2022.<br /><br />Alli joined Spurs from MK Dons in January 2015 but was immediately loaned back to the League One club for the remainder of that season. <br /><br />Born in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, he had caps for England&rsquo;s U17, U18, U19, and U21 teams before making his debut for the senior side in October 2015.<br /><br />Alli picked up the PFA Young Player of the Year award and was named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year last term. <br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : tottenhamhotspur.com <br />
