Nigeria U23 international Taiwo Awoniyi is expected to be unveiled by Dutch club NEC Nijmegen this week.<br /><br />According to matching press reports in the United Kingdom and Holland, including <i>De Gelderlander</i>, Awoniyi will undergo a medical at NEC Nijmegen on Monday before joining the club on a season-long loan move.<br /><br />The attacker was acquired by Liverpool last season before he was farmed out on loan to FSV Frankfurt after failing to secure a work permit. <br /><br />The 19-year-old Awoniyi made the Dream Team alternate roster for the Olympic Games but later left camp to complete his transfer to NEC.<br /><br />He was in the stands on Sunday as NEC played out a 2-2 draw with Go Ahead Eagles in the Eredivisie.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : liverpoolfc.com<br />
