Rotherham United confirmed the capture of the young left-back on Tuesday, putting pen-to-paper on a three-year-deal in South Yorkshire.
The defender spent the first part of last season on loan at Rochdale, where he made twelve appearances in all competitions before returning to Arsenal to complete the season with the U23s.
According to Bola, himself, he departs Arsenal after fifteen years, meaning he was training with the club before signing schoolboy forms at U9 level.
Writing on Instagram, Bola stated : "I don’t think I’ll be able to express 15 years of unbelievable experiences into a single Instagram caption.
"I do however want to say a massive thank you to everyone at Arsenal, both players, staff, and fans, that have helped me throughout my journey up through the ranks of the academy from Hale End to London Colney, and moulded me into the human being and football player I am today.
"It’s been an immense journey and one that will stay with me forever, thank you Gunners".
Several of Bola's teammates past and present have replied to his post, including Willock and Nelson.
Willock said : "Good luck my bro â¤ï¸".
Nelson added : "Good luck bro â¤ï¸ will miss you".
Bola links up with five Nigeria-eligible players at Rotherham United namely Freddie Ladipo, Chiedozie Ogbene, Joshua Kayode, Michael Ihiekwe and Hakeem Odoffin.
