The Nigerian Federation have invited 23 players for the Super Eagles friendly against La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Tuesday, May 22.
Arsenal loanee Kelechi Nwakali has finally earned recognition after receiving a maiden call-up to Nigeria's senior team and will compete with his brother, Manchester City loanee Chidiebere, for one of the spots in midfield.
Other foreign based professionals called up to the squad are former Nigeria U17 captain Musa Mohammed, Roma loanee Sadiq Umar, Kasimpasa's Emem Eduok, Austria Vienna striker Alhassan Ibrahim and ex-Barcelona trialist Usman Mohammed.
