&nbsp;EFL League Two club Notts County have strengthened their offensive ranks with the capture of Nigeria international Shola Ameobi. <br /><br />The 35-year-old Ameobi has committed his future to The Magpies until June 30, 2017.<br /><br />The striker played most recently for Fleetwood Town and is well known for his time at Newcastle United, where he spent nineteen years.<br /><br />His other clubs include Stoke City, Gaziantep BB, Crystal Palace and Bolton Wanderers. <br /><br />Shola Ameobi, who has been handed the number nine jersey, made his debut for Notts County in their 2-0 loss to <span>Accrington Stanley on Saturday, coming off the bench in the 69th minute. <br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : nottscountyfc.co.uk <br /></span>
