Nigeria are set to make an approach for Chelsea wonderkid Tushaun
Tyreece-Walters in their bid to win the race for his services at
international level ahead of England.
Born in London seventeen
years ago, Tyreece-Walters is eligible to represent Nigeria's youth
teams, the Flying Eagles and Dream Team, through his mother but it is
understood that the attacking midfielder's allegiance is with his
country of birth, England, so the Nigerian Federation have to sweet talk
him to choose Nigeria.
''Tyreece-Walters is eligible to play for England and Nigeria, his mom is Nigerian,'' a top source told allnigeriasoccer.com.
''He is on England side now but when we approach him and his representatives we will know where his future lies.''
Tushaun Tyreece-Walters was handed a short-term contract by Chelsea in August 2017 following a successful trial.
Before joining the Premier League champions, he had spells at Tottenham Hotspur and Abbey Rangers.
This
season, Tyreece-Walters has appeared in 12 matches for Chelsea U18s in
the U18 Premier League, including Friday's 4-1 win at Brighton, scoring
once against Leicester City.
He has no caps for England's youth teams.
