Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr was at the FIFA Goal Project in Abuja to run the rule over the invited home-based players for the upcoming friendly against Mexico holding in the United States on July 4.
Aside from his satisfaction with the fitness of the players in camp, the former Bayern Munich defender stressed that he is looking out for players who understand the importance of teamwork with a view to an invitation to the main Super Eagles squad in the future.
Rohr underlined that he has worked with Technical Director of NFF Austin Eguavoen, Paul Aigbogun and Alloy Agu - members of the Super Eagles coaching staff for the friendly with Mexico.
Goalkeepers Ikechukwu Ezenwa and John Noble, Anayo Iwuala, Adekunle Adeleke and Ifeanyi Anaemena are the players Rohr is familiar with in the current squad as they have all trained under his guidance in the past.
Speaking to the invited players at the end of training on Wednesday, Rohr stated : "I'm happy to see a good training session, some of you were already with me, I think two other boys will join tonight.
"I see that you are already fit physically and so very good training session.
"You have the privilege to go to the United States which is a wonderful journey and a wonderful game to play against Mexico, so I'm here to see you, to help you, to speak with your staff.
Rohr continued : "He (Alloy Agu) is my goalkeeper coach already all the time and the technical director Austin is working with me all the time like Paul, I assisted Paul in the World Cup for U20 so we are a family all together.
"What we want to see is collective football not to do one-man show, I'm watching for these players who are playing for the team, I wish you good camping".
The Super Eagles have faced Mexico five times in the past, drawing four of the encounters and losing once.
