The 2013/2014 Nigeria Women Professional Football League will begin on Saturday March 29.<br /><br />According to the Secretary of the League body, Mr. Issac Ajisafe, 12 teams that will vie for honours in the league have been divided into two groups.<br /><br />In Group A, we have teams like FC Robo of Lagos, Police Machines of Lagos, Tokas Queens of Lagos, COD Queens of Lagos, Yaba Queens of Lagos and Tewo Babes of Ibadan. <br /><br />In Group B, we have Martins White Doves of Benin, State House Queens of Abuja, Abia Queens of Umuahia, Capital City Doves of Abuja, Oguche Babes of Lokoja, and Beautiful Tour Angels of Abuja. <br /><br />The teams were grouped&nbsp; in such a way that they would have little or no problems attending their matches. <br /><br />They have been grouped virtually along with teams in their geo-political areas, with only few exceptions. <br /><br />Moreover, these teams would be playing their matches once in two weeks, this is to enable them prepare adequately before their next matches.<br /><br />Ajisafe warned the teams to adhere strictly to the rules governing the Nigeria Women Football League and avoid any action that would bring the game of football to disrepute.
