Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu has posted a cryptic yet confident message on social media after making history with Trabzonspor in their 3–1 victory over Fatih Karagümrük.
Onuachu, who joined the Claret-Blues on a permanent deal last summer, scored once and also provided an assist to help Trabzonspor secure victory on Friday night.
The goal was his seventh in six consecutive league matches, a historic achievement that saw him become the first player in the club’s history to reach such a milestone.
Since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations, Onuachu has found the net against Kasımpaşa, Antalyaspor, Samsunspor, Fenerbahçe, Gaziantep FK, and Fatih Karagümrük.
Following the milestone, Onuachu took to Instagram with a message that appeared to reflect on his journey and achievements.
"No paid media. No bought hype. Just hard work, quality, and goals," the Super Eagles striker wrote.
After struggling to adapt during his time in England with Southampton, Onuachu has rediscovered his scoring touch, registering 19 goals and two assists in 23 appearances across all competitions.
His impressive form has kept Trabzonspor firmly in the title race in the Süper Lig, with only Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe currently ahead of them in the standings.
