Through official sources, Football League One club Northampton Town have announced the signing of former Tottenham Hotspur starlet Emmanuel Sonupe following a successful trial.<br /><br />The attacking midfielder cum winger has penned a one-year contract that will see him remain at the Cobblers until June 30, 2017. <br /><br />Sonupe found himself unemployed after he was released by Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the 2015-2016 campaign.<br /><br />The 20-year-old, who has played for England at U16 and U18 level, spent a portion of the 2014-2015 season on loan at Scottish club St Mirren.<br /><br />The Londoner trialed at Charlton Athletic in July but a deal did not materialize. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : ntfc.co.uk<br />
