Enugu Rangers young star Obinna Nwobodo&rsquo;s operation in Doha, Qatar to repair his anterior cruciate ligament has been described as a success by the player himself.<br /><br />The Nigeria Under 20 international did not feature at the 2015 Fifa Under 20s in New Zealand after sustaining an injury in the showpiece game of the African Youth Championship.<br /><br />The Nigeria Federation has issued a statement that Obinna Nwobodo was delighted with the surgery carried out by doctors at ASPETAR Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital.<br /><br />&ldquo;I am very happy, and I thank God and the NFF for making this possible,&rdquo;Obinna Nwobodo said to thenff.com.<br /><br />The 18 - year - old will spend at least the next five weeks in Doha convalescing before returning to Nigeria.<br /><br />Photo Credit : thenff.com<br />
