Vanarama National League club Boreham Wood have completed the signing of former Nigeria U23 international Danny Uchechi on a one-year deal. <br /><br />The 26-year-old has been offered a contract by The Wood after impressing coach Luke Garrard in trial games against Brentford, Reading and Peterborough.<br /><br />Uchechi began his career in the United Kingdom with the youth team of Charlton Athletic before taking in stops at West Ham United, Leicester City, Sheffield Wednesday and Aberdeen.<br /><br />The attacker has played in Sweden with AFC United and Dalkurd&nbsp; .<br /><br />Former Everton and Boro hero Yakubu Aiyegbeni has been linked with a possible move to Boreham Wood this summer.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : borehamwoodfootballclub.co.uk<br />
