The Zürich-born player has inked a one-year contract with the fourth-tier English club who are managed by Ryan Lowe.
Omotayo represented Swiss clubs FC Zürich, FC Schlieren and Wettswil before transferring to Whitehawk in December 2017.
Commenting on the transfer, Lowe stated : ''I'm delighted to sign Gold. He's a big presence, and we feel that he's capable of cutting it in League Two.
''He's what we've been looking for, he has a great attitude and is always looking to improve his game. He's come over from Switzerland and shown us what he can do, and we believe in what he can offer.
''I'm really looking forward to working with him, and I'm sure he's going to cause problems for a few defenders.''
Omotayo, 24, scored an impressive 11 goals in 16 appearances for Whitehawk last season.
