Kennedy Igboananike has terminated his contract with Greek Super League club Veria by mutual consent.<br /><br />The Nigerian striker, who also has a Swedish passport, severed his ties with Veria due to a personal issue.<br /><br />The 28-year-old Igboananike had been linked with a transfer to former club AIK before making an under the radar transfer to Veria.<br /><br />Djurg&aring;rden, Vasalund, Chicago Fire and DC United were his previous clubs before his arrival in Greece.<br /><br />His contract with Veria would have expired at the end of the 2016-2017 season if club and player did not agree to part company. <br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br /><br />
