Through official channels, FC Lausanne-Sport have announced the signing of free kick expert Taye Taiwo following a successful medical. <br /><br />The left back has appended his signature to a five-month contract with the Swiss Super League team that will keep him in Switzerland until the end of the 2016-2017 season.<br /><br />Taiwo last played for HJK Helsinki, and numbers Marseille, AC Milan, Queens Park Rangers, Bursaspor and Dynamo Kiev among his former clubs. <br /><br />Teams based in Greece, Turkey and Finland were credited with an interest for the 31-year-old prior to his shift to FC Lausanne-Sport.<br /><br />Taye Taiwo is in line to make his competitive debut against&nbsp; FC Lucerne on February 5.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : lausanne-sport.ch<br />
