Official: Former Arsenal Striker Enters The History Books After Joining Los Angeles FC
Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC have announced the signing of Mexico international Carlos Vela.
The striker has entered the history books in the process as he is the first-ever Designated Player acquired by Los Angeles FC.
Carlos Vela is a product of Arsenal, where he spent seven years before shifting to Real Sociedad on a permanent basis in 2012.
He played on loan at Salamanca, Osasuna and West Brom while on the books of the Emirates outfit.
Vela's contract with Los Angeles FC will become activated on January 1, 2018, meaning he will remain at Real Sociedad for the next five months.
