Vanarama National League South club Whitehawk have snapped up&nbsp; Nigerian defender Elliot Omozusi until the end of the season. <br /><br />Omozusi had been searching for a new team following his release by Cambridge United in the January transfer window.<br /><br />The 28-year-old previously had spells with Fulham, Norwich City, Charlton Athletic and Leyton Orient.<br /><br />Born in England, he has caps for the U16, U17, U18 and U19 national teams of England and had been on the radar of the Nigeria Football Federation. <br /><br />Former Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi wanted to invite Elliot Omozusi for an international friendly game against Mexico in March 2014 but could not get a clearance from Fifa. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : cambridge-united.co.uk<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
