With a statement published on their official website, Finnish Veikkausliiga outfit Kuopion Palloseura have announced the signing of Super Eagles striker Gbolahan Salami.<br /><br />The 24-year-old has appended his signature to a one-year contract with KuPS, with the club having the option to extend the agreement for an additional season in December 2016.<br /><br />Salami, who emerged top scorer in the Nigerian top-flight in 2015, is expected to arrive in Kuopio in the coming days, subject to being granted a visa by the Finnish authorities.<br /><br /><b>Allnigeriasoccer.com</b> understands that teams based in the United Arab Emirates and Tunisia had been mulling over a move for the Fame Academy product in the January transfer window before he agreed terms with KuPS.<br /><br /><i>The Canaries</i> have also strengthened their defense ahead of the new season with the capture of Nigeria international Azubuike Egwuekwe.<br /><br />Photo Credit : nigeriafootball.com<br />
