Through a statement on their official webpage, Liverpool have announced that they have extended the contract of England youth international Jordon Ibe. <br /><br />The 19 - year - old has impressed for the Anfield side since he was recalled from his loan spell at Derby County and went on to make 13 appearances for The Reds.<br /><br />Though the duration of the new contract he penned was not disclosed , it is being speculated that he put pen to paper on a five - year deal that will see him remain with the club until June 30, 2020.<br /><br />A product of Charlton Athletic, Ibe turned out for Wycombe Wanderers before crossing over to Liverpool in 2011.<br /><br />Last season, the Anglo - Nigerian spent time on loan at Birmingham City.<br /><br />Photo Credit : liverpoolfc.com<br /><br /><br />
