Nigerian left back Elderson Echiejile has joined Spanish club Sporting de Gij&oacute;n on loan from Monaco for the remainder of the season. <br /><br />The ex-Flying Eagle spent the first half of this season at Standard Liege but was recalled from his loan spell in Belgium earlier this month.<br /><br />A product of Bendel Insurance, Echiejile began his European career with Rennes before signing for Sporting Braga in 2010.<br /><br />He will travel to Gijon tomorrow, Wednesday and will have his first training session with his new teammates the following day. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : realsporting.com<br />
