EFL League One side Coventry City have announced the signing of Nigeria international Yakubu Aiyegbeni, subject to the receipt of his International Transfer Certificate. <br /><br />The 34-year-old has penned a deal with the Sky Blues until the end of the 2016-2017 season, following a successful trial. <br /><br />Aiyegbeni is well known in England for his appearances with Portsmouth, Middlesbrough, Everton, Leicester City, Blackburn Rovers and Reading.<br /><br />A product of Julius Berger, the veteran striker will play with the number 22 kit during his time at the Ricoh Arena.<br /><br />Coventry City have the second worst attack in the English third-tier after 31 rounds, with only 25 goals scored and have the least number of points.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : ccfc.co.uk<br />
