Through their official website, Watford have announced that Emmanuel Dennis's transfer is now in the bag, with the winger agreeing personal terms with the newly-promoted English Premier League club.
The Hornets previously announced that they had reached an agreement with Club Brugge to sign the former Nigeria U23 international.
Dennis has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with Watford, keeping him at Vicarage Road until the end of the 2025-2026 season.
The 23-year-old departs the back-to-back Belgian champions after scoring 29 goals in 116 appearances while producing thirteen assists.
In an interview with Watford's official webpage, Nigerian sports writer Andrew Randa spoke glowingly of the Hornets brand new signing when he was asked to name the players he would liken Dennis to.
"When I heard he was going to Watford, Ismaïla Sarr immediately came to mind as Emmanuel is very strong and direct," Randa said.
"He isn't as tall as Sarr so has a lower centre of gravity, but he is up there pace wise. He's got a bit of Kingsley Coman about him and people have also likened him to Nicolas Pépé but right footed.
"I think he also has similarities to fellow Nigerian Victor Moses when he was at Wigan and Chelsea".
Dennis will link up with his Watford teammates, including William Troost-Ekong, Isaac Success and Tom Dele-Bashiru, when the pre-season gets underway.
