Championship side Rotherham United have announced the loan signing of former Nigeria U20 international Semi Ajayi from Cardiff City. <br /><br />The 23-year-old will remain on loan at AESSEAL New York Stadium for the remainder of the 2016-2017 campaign.<br /><br />In his first words after penning the contract, Semi said to themillers.co.uk : &ldquo;I heard about the interest on Saturday evening and then I got a call from the gaffer here on Sunday afternoon.<br /><br />&ldquo;He told me what the club was about, he said that there is a really good set of lads here and I would enjoy it. <br /><br />&ldquo;I jumped at the chance to sign and get some games, and hopefully help the club move forward.&rdquo;<br /><br />Ajayi numbers Arsenal, Charlton Athletic, Dartford, AFC Wimbledon and Crewe Alexandra amongst his former clubs.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : themillers.co.uk
