Japanese top division club FC Tokyo have bolstered their ranks with the signing of Nigeria international Peter Utaka on loan from rivals Sanfrecce Hiroshima until January 1, 2018.<br /><br />The attacker penned a permanent contract with Sanfrecce Hiroshima on Tuesday before he was sent out on loan to FC Tokyo for the remainder of the 2017 season.<br /><br />The 33-year-old Utaka was the<span style="" class="notranslate"> J-League joint top goalscorer last term with 19 goals, alongside Leandro of Vissel Kobe.<br /><br />It has been agreed that the Nigerian attacker will not participate in official matches against </span>Sanfrecce Hiroshima this season.<br /><br />Peter Utaka numbers Westerlo, OB Odense, Dalian Aerbin and Beijing Guoan among his former clubs.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit: uefa.com<br />
