Through official channels, Greek Super League club Atromitos have confirmed the signing of promising Nigerian attacker Ehije Ukaki on loan from Sheffield United until the remainder of the 2025-2026 season.
A product of Collins Edwin Sports Club, Ukaki has transferred to Atromitos in search of adequate playing opportunities after struggling for game time at the Blades.
This season, he has made only one appearance for Sheffield United, playing 82 minutes in a Carabao Cup clash against Birmingham City, and he is yet to make his debut in the Championship despite earning three call-ups.
The 21-year-old joined Botev Plovdiv from Russian club Vista in January 2024 and he went on to make 58 appearances for the Bulgarian side, registering seven goals and 11 assists.
He also played a key role in the Europa League and Conference League qualifiers, and was instrumental in Botev’s 2024 Cup triumph over Ludogorets.
Atromitos have confirmed that Ukaki has been handed the number seven jersey after formally requesting the shirt number.
After nineteen matches in the Greek Super League, Atromitos are eleventh in the standings with seventeen points accumulated.
