EFL League One side Shrewsbury Town have completed the signing of Cardiff-born striker Aaron Amadi-Holloway on a two-year deal, informs the official website of The Blues.
Aaron joining Shrewsbury Town is a step forward in his career as he would have been playing in League Two with demoted Oldham Athletic in the new season if he remained at the club.
The big and powerful striker began his career in his country of birth, at Cardiff City, followed by spells at Bristol City, Newport County, Wycombe Wanderers and Fleetwood Town.
''I’m very happy to be here. We got it done today and I can’t wait to get going,'' Amadi-Holloway told Shrewsbury Town's official website.
“Last year wasn’t so good with Oldham getting relegated but now is a new challenge.
“I know the Club want to go higher and hopefully help with that.
“This morning I went to the stadium. It’s very nice; I’ve been there before so I already knew it was a good stadium. ''
The 25-year-old Amadi-Holloway has played for Wales at U17 and U19 level but remains eligible to turn out for the Super Eagles.
