Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Nigeria-eligible young star, Luke Amos has joined Championship side Queens Park Rangers on loan for the 2019/20 season.
The highly-rated central midfielder made his Premier League debut against Newcastle United on the opening day of last season and was close to breaking into the first team squad but suffered a season-ending injury in a Premier League 2 clash vs Blackburn Rovers a month after his competitive debut for the North London club.
The 22-year-old Amos has been on the books of Tottenham Hotspur since the age of nine and traveled with the first team to United States for pre-season training last July.
He has fully recovered from an anterior cruciate ligament and is raring to go for Queens Park Rangers.
''It has been a tough nine months but I am really excited now,'' Amos told www.qpr.co.uk.
''I haven’t wasted a day in that whole time. I feel physically fit and the next step for me is being back in games and that’s something I am looking forward to.
''I feel like I was hungry to succeed before – but now I am absolutely starving! It has been such a tough journey and I want it now more than ever.''
