Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo was among the scorers as CD Leganes beat La Liga club SD Eibar 3-1 in their second pre-season friendly at the Butarque Sports Facility on Saturday morning, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The Chelsea product is back in Spain training with his teammates ahead of the new season amid speculation surrounding his future with reports linking him with a summer exit following Leganes' demotion to the second-tier of Spanish football.
It took Omeruo three minutes to open the scoring as he headed in a corner taken by Dani Ojeda.
Rosales and José Arnaiz found the net as Leganes raced into a 3-0 lead inside 40 minutes, before Quique reduced the deficit from the spot in second half stoppage time.
Of the eleven players that started the game for Leganes, only three, including Omeruo went the full ninety.
Up next for Omeruo and his teammates is another pre-season friendly against Rayo Vallecano at the Butarque Municipal Stadium.
