Ex-Chelsea attacking midfielder of Nigerian descent, Jamal Musiala didn't get to feature in the UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint Germain on Sunday evening, with Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick omitting the 17-year-old from the matchday squad, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
One of the most talked about images from the final was the former Barcelona winger crying after the game and he had to be consoled by Austrian center back David Alaba.
Bayern coach Hansi Flick and PSG's sporting director Leonardo also sympathized with the devastated Neymar.
However, the PSG number 10 appeared to be in good spirits when he met with Musiala for the photograph as he smiled for the camera.
Signed from Chelsea last summer, Musiala played 29 games in all competitions for Bayern Munich's teams in his first season in Germany, one of which was against SC Freiburg in the Bundesliga.
