Through official channels, South African Premier Soccer League Ajax Cape Town have announced the acquisition of Nigeria international Ejike Uzoenyi.

The former Enugu Rangers poster boy has appended his signature to a four-year deal, tying him to the Urban Warriors until 2021.

Uzoenyi is very popular in South Africa thanks to his imperious display for the Nigeria squad at the 2014 African Nations Championship(CHAN), where he was named the Player of the Tournament.

After the tourney, the diminutive winger had an unsuccessful spell at Mamelodi Sundowns before moving to Bidvest Wits.

Uzoenyi, who represented the Super Eagles at the 2014 World Cup, has also defended the colours of Enyimba and Rennes.
